Hope no one has any upcoming flights booked with SkyEurope
Dropped my parents off at the Prague airport this morning and noticed all SkyEurope flights were canceled. Apparently they didn't pay the money owed to the Prague airport, so all flights got suspended. Noticed several groups of Italians, Spanish and French camped out and disillusioned in the airport.

Feel free to post all your rants regarding SkyEurope.
They've been operating in the red since they started. I think they might let them have a few flights if they pay off some of their debt. Sad thing was they were still selling tickets up till they made their announcement. My Swedish friend had a similar problem, his airline went bankrupt while he was in Brno, so he had to sort his own way back.
Hi,
unfortunately lot of people expected this to happen, as this is the second proceeding against them:( I hired one colleague from Sky - she fought for her few months salary still at that time...she was the person responsible for refunds. She told me that the company had really serious problem for long time...
Not an upcoming flight but I know one Brno Expat who is actually on vacation at present having flown out with Sky Europe. Is there any chance of replacement flights being organised do you think? or will they have to sort it out for themselves when it's time to come home?

Brno Time

We got stranded in Athens and as I had to be back on time for a biz trip I had to pay full fare on Czech airlines - they were offering Sky Europe specials at 50 Eur but stand by only....
Oh well... thats life!
