Safe?

A female Czech friend of ours was on her way home just before midnight recently. She lives on a street off Pekarska. Just as she was nearly home two guys grabbed hold of her and tried to take her handbag. She was more shocked than frightened and fought back. Luckily for her some other people came down the street and the two guys ran off without her handbag. She had some nasty bruises on her face the next day though!

We all say Brno is a safe city and it is but it just goes to show you shouldn't take anything for granted.
