Dobrý Den,

I will be studying abroad in Brno this coming January from Florida, US.
One of my requirements is to get Medical Travel Insurance.

The Czech embassy website(http://www.mzv.cz/washington/en/index.html) has me go to a list of providers in the country.
There are two Brno entries, but one seems to be going out of business; so I'm left with this one option.. http://www.cnb.cz/cnb/JERRS.WEB10.VIZITKA?p_lang=en&p_SEQ_ID=2612&p_VER_... whose main web page is http://www.triglav.cz/

So to my main question. Has anyone ever used triglav or heard of them? I'm allowed to use my home insurance but it can get risky in certain situations, so they recommend the list stated above.

Thank You,
Daniel Jakob

I would go for VZP insurance it's among the cheapest and by far the most widely recognized by health professionals. It is the former state health insurer and therefore used by the majority of Czech people.

Starting point is www.vzp.cz if you look at the bottom of the home page you can click for an English version. You will also find details of their Brno office there.
